About the map

An editorial operating system for a market that will not sit still.

01

What belongs on the map

Organizations are selected for meaningful model, product, infrastructure, research, or market influence—not simply because they announced a large funding round. Companies can appear in more than one category when their work crosses layers of the stack.

02

How lifecycle works

Research covers early technical work and prototypes. Preview marks constrained access or evaluation. Growth reflects public availability and scaling. Deployment is reserved for products operating in sustained production or at meaningful market scale.

03

How changes are ordered

The changes archive uses the date an event occurred. When that date cannot be established, it uses the original public publication date. It never sorts by the date an editor happened to add the record to this site.

04

How financial data is handled

Funding, debt, valuation, acquisition values, and reported revenue remain distinct. Every structured financial record must include a dated source. Private-company ARR and run-rate figures are labeled as reported disclosures, not audited revenue.

05

Sources and corrections

Profiles prioritize official company material, regulatory or investor-relations disclosures, technical documentation, and high-quality reporting. Every profile shows its verification status and source links, and corrections enter a private editorial review queue before publication.

06

Who maintains it

The map is built and maintained by Corey Noles as a living editorial product. The Staticbreaker carries the same work into a concise briefing about the launches, category shifts, and market signals worth paying attention to.
